Mobilisation Lab (MobLab)
Summary
A practitioner network focused on people-powered campaigning and distributed organizing. Publishes the Campaign Accelerator toolkit and case write-ups.
Body
The Mobilisation Lab (MobLab) is a global training and convening initiative hosted at the intersection of civic campaigning and movement organising; it designs and runs campaign accelerators, fellowships, and learning networks for movement organisers [source: moblab]. The MobLab spring 2026 announcement - the return of the Campaign Accelerator, a week-long training that brings campaigners from across civil society to collaboratively build people-centred campaigns - shows the current flagship: the Accelerator’s methodology now focuses on campaigns that disrupt far-right narratives, and the dates/locations (London 09-13 March 2026, Brussels 6-10 July 2026) signal the MobLab’s geographic focus on Europe with cross-Atlantic reach [source: moblab]. The MobLab sits in the lineage of the New Organizing Institute and other campaign-accelerator formats adapted for non-US contexts [source: moblab].
Coverage: MobLab’s training portfolio includes the Campaign Accelerator, customised in-house trainings, and remote-coaching engagements; the project also publishes research and convenings on the practice of campaign strategy and the movement-organising field [source: moblab]. MobLab positions its training as joyful, peer-led, and methodology-driven, and the methodology frame is one of the things its alumni cite most often when describing the value of the programme [source: moblab].
A campaigner reaches for MobLab when looking for a peer-cohort campaign accelerator in Europe, when designing an in-house campaign training for a movement organisation, or when applying for the Accelerator itself. The MobLab’s curriculum and conference materials are designed to be transposable across movement contexts [source: moblab]. Treat as link-only; the application flow and dates are the working reference. [source: moblab]
