Learning Resources

A curated hub for external learning resources — courses, training programs, certificate paths, and reading curricula that complement the wiki’s own content. This page is the learning complement to reading-list (books) and glossary (terms): where the reading list is what to read, and the glossary is what the words mean, this page is where to learn it in a structured way.

The wiki is reference material — you read a concept page, follow a learning path (start with the first-campaign path), and apply the method. The resources listed here are the training layer: the courses and programs that systematically walk you through the methods the wiki documents, typically with a cohort, a facilitator, and a credential at the end.

How to use this page

  • New to campaigning? Start with the bottom-up, free, online options — commons-library, moblab, 350-trainings — and supplement with the wiki’s own first-campaign learning path.
  • Building a specific skill? Jump to the matching section — the campaign-planning section has different options than the digital or the protection sections.
  • Running a training of your own? The trainer / facilitator resources at the bottom of each section show you the curricula you can adapt.
  • Cost constraint? Each resource is tagged with its cost bracket (Free · Sliding-scale · Paid) and its language coverage.

Tag legend

  • 🟢 Free — no tuition; certificate may be paid.
  • 🟡 Sliding-scale / pay-what-you-can — variable cost; some tiers are free for low-income / Global-South participants.
  • 🔴 Paid — fixed tuition.
  • 🌐 Multilingual — content available in 2+ of the wiki’s published languages (EN/DE/FR/IT/ES).
  • 📅 Cohort-based — runs on a fixed schedule with a start/end date, not self-paced.
