Body
Manual de Campañas para la Transformación Social: Movilización e Incidencia Política is a 2018 Spanish-language handbook on social-transformation campaigns, published by ONGAWA (Ingeniería para el Desarrollo Humano, a Spanish development NGO) and made freely available on the ONGAWA site [source: manual-campanas-ongawa]. The book is licensed under Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial-SinObraDerivada 3.0 Espana, permitting non-commercial reproduction with attribution - one of the more permissive licences in this part of the source corpus [source: manual-campanas-ongawa]. The manual was coordinated by Matilde Jiménez and Itziar Rosado, with collaboration from Julia del Teso, José Manuel Gómez and Alberto Guijarro, edited by Transformando Cooperativa de Iniciativa Social, and produced with the support of the Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AEXCID) [source: manual-campanas-ongawa].
Coverage is structured as a full campaign handbook: chapters walk through the rationale for mobilisation and advocacy campaigns (rights-based justification, gender inequality, environment), the theory of social change (theory of change, theory of power, theory of empowerment, hegemony, frames), the operational cycle (planning, research, strategy, action, communication, monitoring and evaluation), and a closing section on campaign case studies from the Spanish development sector [source: manual-campanas-ongawa]. The whole is written for practitioners and students in the Spanish development and human-rights sector, so the case studies are drawn from ONGAWA’s portfolio (water, sanitation, infrastructure, Latin America, Africa) [source: manual-campanas-ongawa].
A campaigner reaches for it when designing a campaign-training curriculum in Spanish, or when looking for a handbook that pairs theory-of-change methodology with Spanish-language practical cases [source: manual-campanas-ongawa]. The CC licence permits non-commercial reproduction with attribution, so short passages can be quoted directly. [source: manual-campanas-ongawa]
